Curriculum |
Buckingham College Preparatory School provides a broad, balanced, progressive and continuous curriculum, offering a wide range of subjects which cover every area of learning. In doing so, we prepare our pupils for assessments into the major Independent and State schools in the area at 11+. However, we also accept the fact that all subjects have a real purpose and, as a consequence, have a significant part to play in the everyday life of the school.
Reception: The six areas of learning:-
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Communication, Language and Literacy
- Mathematical Development
- Knowledge and Understanding of the World
- Physical Development
- Creative Development
