For a small school, we believe that we organise a very comprehensive list of events which cover a wide range of subject areas. These events are always very well supported by boys and parents alike.
1. Expressive Arts Week
- Open to all pupils
- 15 or more categories (e.g. musical performances, poetry reading, painting, creative writing, model making, cake decoration)
- Fancy Dress, Hat/Mask competitions
2. Plays
- Autumn Term – Junior and Infant Plays
- Easter Term – Major production at Music & Drama Festival
- Summer Term – Year 6 Leavers’ Play and Presentations
Summer Concert
- Over 30 items
- Involving as many as 10 different types of instrument
- Orchestra of over 40 pupils
- Solos, Duets and Ensembles
4. Services And Assemblies
- Services
- Harvest Festival Service
- Carol Service
- Assemblies
- Harrow Christmas Care Assembly
- 4 Assemblies per week
- Staff and Class Assemblies
- Celebrations of various ethnic festivals
- Presentations from Charities
5. School Trips
- Approximately 25 school trips organised each year. All year groups are involved.
- Whole school theatre trip
- French trip
- 5 day residential trip (home and abroad) open to Years 3-6
6. Parents And Friends Association
- Raises approximately £3,500 - £4,000 per annum
- 3 or more major functions a year
- School Fête and events such as Quiz, Spa and Race Nights
