Art is considered to be a key subject area in the curriculum – an opportunity for pupils to express themselves by using a whole variety of mediums. Indeed, you are encouraged to visit the school to view a range of ceramics and mosaics as well as countless class displays.
The Preparatory School organises an Expressive Arts Week in the Summer Term which provides pupils with the opportunity of participating in as many as 14 categories of events. Apart from Art work in various forms, these would necessarily include such activities as poetry reading, creative writing, musical presentations and even pizza decoration!
Visits are arranged to Art Galleries and Museums giving boys a wide range of artistic experiences and stimuli.
Over the past few years a number of boys have had their artwork selected for the Royal Academy of Art's Annual exhibition. Below you can see some of the more recent successes.
