Pre-School Prepare For Chinese New Year

The children in Pre-School have had some very exciting learning experiences this week, they explored the origins of Chinese New Year and how it is celebrated. They listened to the story ‘The Great Race’ to learn about the Chinese Zodiac. They worked together to create a giant dragon and took part in dragon dancing in the hall. The children learned about how some people use chopsticks to eat. They chose their own sauces and had a go at using chopsticks to eat noodles. A very sticky but fun experience!”
