A Strong Start To The Summer Term

Posted: 16th April 2021

Our students returned to school this week with smiling faces and a spring in their step. Assemblies have been prompting thought on inspiring, aspiring and achieving and students have impressed with their ability to jump back into routines and produce work of an impressive standard.

Students from all year groups commenced new projects in Art & Design in the lead up to Expressive Arts Week. The theme was announced as Geometry, students will be exploring the theme from a number of perspectives such as in Anatomy, Natural Forms, Astrology, Architecture, Fashion & Design. The students have already produced work of an exceptional standard, and have been mature and creative in both ideas and skill.

We can not wait for all of the exciting activities and events this term, Adam from Year 5 reports on what he thinks the summer term has in store for us.

“I am so excited for the summer term because, well hopefully, we will remain at school and will be able to learn lots of things, experience new things, have fun, gain new skills and play fun games in the sunshine”.

Well done everyone for settling back in so well.
