Royal Academy Exhibition Success & Expressive Arts Week

Posted: 17th June 2021

Expressive Arts Week 2021 A sensational week of creative extravaganzas.

Some exceptional singing performances, mix ups, mash ups, covers and more. Voices of angels delivering unique takes on pop culture and traditional music.

Our dancers have been equally as impressive, such diversity in approach to movement and style. Our students certainly know how to lose themselves to the rhythm and the beat.

Our poetry competition also displayed an array of creative genius. Students from Pre-school to Year 6 presenting some flawless poems with passion and flair.

Our visual Arts category has been beyond impressive. All students in the school exploring the theme of Geometry in a variety of mediums. Incredibly advanced digital Artworks, made with Sketch-up and Adobe Suite. Sculptures, installations, animations and more. The students really have proven themselves as undeniably talented creatives and designers. A final mention of creative success from this week must go to our Year 3 student Ayaansh. His abstract self portrait was submitted to the Prestigious Royal Academy’s Young Artists Exhibition and out of tens of thousands of applicants, his work was selected amongst just a couple of hundred other students from across the UK to be exhibited in the Royal Academy Young Artists Online Exhibition. We are so immensely proud of Ayaansh in this exceptional achievement.

Well done everybody!
