As the students entered back through the red doors of BPS for the Autumn Term, the building was struck with excitement. Smiling faces in every corridor, every classroom, growing even larger in the playgrounds and sports fields. Students returned to the pool for Swimming club, to the hall for Choir and Judo, and many more sporting and creative activities have recommenced after a long stretch since the days before Covid. The students’ ability to return to structure, routine and hard-work has been admirable. We are all feeling optimistic for a term full of academic achievements, creative flare and sporting success.
Two of our Year 5 students report as poets on the first week back.
“First week, as I seek,
Ms Hollis’s head, Peeping through the RED,
Doors, her heart pours,
We yearn to learn”
By Rian Shah
“Man Be Thyself,
The crest, is the best.
I am excited to work hard, play hard and impress Mrs Hollis with my curiosity and passion for learning.”
