Effort Recognition Celebration For Year 6

Posted: 28th January 2022

January 28th 2022 almost marks the end of all the interviews, tests, preparation, hard work and effort that has been put in by all eighteen boys in Year 6, in order to proceed to their new schools, with the majority now having finished. Since returning in September, the boys have been working incredibly hard towards their goals of achieving places at the Secondary School of their choice.

Whilst it will still be a while until all the results are finally in and then choices being made about future destinations, it cannot be overstated how impressed we have all been with their effort, dedication and desire to push their learning forwards every day.

It also allows us to now focus on other pursuits, such as the Year 6 production, with auditions taking place this week. It has been lovely to see how engaged and enthusiastic they have all been and it is shaping up to be quite a performance, however you will have to wait until after half term to find out more!

To acknowledge their efforts so far this year, we are taking Year 6 on a celebratory bowling excursion next week, to congratulate them for all their hard work and aptitude in the recent months. They are a credit to the School as well as themselves for getting to this point and so it is lovely to be able to plan something outside of the School grounds, given the last couple of years, in order to celebrate with the boys. Well done Year 6!
