Speech Day & Animal Encounters!

Posted: 4th July 2022

Speech Day took place last Thursday, an incredible event filled with gratitude, unity and respect. Our community is truly special, our students, parents, teachers and support staff make the school such an incredible place, and this event illustrated that wholeheartedly. A huge well done to all of our students for their awards, they really are the most well rounded, well moraled bunch of children.

Friday’s events were of quite a contrast, with animal encounters being enjoyed across the school. The students pushed themselves out of their comfort zones and overcame their fears. Students right from Pre-School to Year 6 held a number of reptiles and insects, including a Bower Constrictor and a Tarantula! The students asked some interesting questions about the animals and engaged thoroughly with this exciting learning experience.
