What a week it has been at BPS this week. An undercurrent of respect, kindness, empathy and awareness circulated through the school even more apparent to the norm as a reflection of anti-bullying week. The students learned a lot about the importance of their own behaviour, but also the importance of stepping in, while observing bullying taking place. The boys took all of their learning very seriously and the awareness and sympathy they displayed was admirable.
On Wednesday, Year 4 took a trip to the National Poetry museum, where they learned all about the construction of various forms of poetry and were creative and expressive with their own creations. the teachers leading the trip were extremely impressed with the boys’ maturity, enthusiasm and all round positive attitude during the trip.
On Thursday we had a visit from Pinner Police, who delivered two inspiring assemblies to the boys on safety. the boys were excited to speak with the Police and learn all about the reality of the job. They asked insightful and meaningful questions.
On Friday, we celebrated Children In Need Day, students dressed in spotty garments and had a teddy bear hunt around the school.
