This week has been jam packed with excitements, with Mental Health awareness and education being the theme of the week’s learning, students undertook a series of creative, physical and educational activities. We celebrated mental health day on Wednesday, where students engaged in a giant collaborative meditation drawing; performed creative acts surrounding the theme of ‘making meaningful connections’; as well as taking part in a series of classroom activities such as yoga and meditation.
On Thursday Year 3 celebrated ‘Ancient Greek Day’, where they prepared Egyptian cuisine, made Egyptian pots and designed Egyptian temples. They had a fantastic day and certainly made some educational memories.
After a very busy half term, the students are certainly ready for a well deserved half term!
