People Who Help Us

In Pre-School the children have been learning about ‘People Who Help Us.’ In keeping with this topic the children in lower school had a visit from the local firefighters. They taught them about fire safety and what number to call in an emergency. The children got to see all the different equipment a fire fighter has to wear and they explained why they need each item. They were then very lucky to all have the opportunity to squirt some water from the hoses on the fire engines. A very exciting morning for all of the lower school!
