Due to the overwhelming victory for the Collaborative Society Party in yesterday’s Buckingham Prep elections, we are now consulting with the Party on the new proposals and their implementation.

Votes were cast throughout the day by the whole school community. It was such a close tie that a recount had to take place three time by Mr Doyle.

The leader of the Party, Samay Kachalia,  as chosen by his party members, outlined the proposals to improve the safety and the noise levels in the playground, paving the way for fewer mishaps and an opportunity to read together with their green focus on discouraging single use plastic bottle use and greater awareness of the natural world around us through education.

As returning officer, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who made this election possible, through creation and monitoring of our polling station, those who counted and recorded the votes, the opposition parties, both members and leaders and for all pupils of the school who took the opportunity to vote.

“We have much work to do and that work starts now”.
