A week of cultural excitement this week at BPS.
On Monday we had a fantastic day exploring European culture and language, with all classroom activities focusing on the beautifully diverse and rich cultures that exist around us. Madame Howells organised and performed Spanish dancing classes and Year 3 performed these in assembly. The students had a chance to explore a number of new languages and learn about how different cultures celebrate national holidays. At lunch the students were served Spanish treats such as churros and sangria.
From Wednesday through until Friday we had our book fair up and running, students displayed such excitement with the opportunity to discover new fictional adventures.
On Friday our achivement assembly displayed a variety of awards s for their Lamda performances, European Language Day awards, effort and achievement and kindness nominations.
We are very impressed with everyone so far, keep up the incredible attitude everyone!
