Year 6 visit Bentley Priory

As part of their History curriculum for this term Year 6 have been studying WW2. On Monday 13th May 2019, the class visited Bentley Priory Museum, previously RAF Headquarters Fighter Command, a site of national historical importance and from where the Battle of Britain was won.

During the visit, the use of films, guided talks, interactive and hands on learning supplemented and enhanced the boys’ knowledge and understanding of the vital role the RAF Fighter Command played at Bentley Priory.

This was a visit that the boys thoroughly enjoyed and gained a great deal from.
