Sporting Our Way Into 2022

Posted: 14th January 2022

Our first full week back of the new year has been a metaphor of the year we hope to come. Full of activities, prizes and productivity.

We have been particularly impressed with our sporting stars since returning to school but also have a lot to report on from before Christmas.

All of our boys from y3-6 competed in some impressive sports matches against other schools last term and showed great determination and etiquette throughout. Our U11 team are training hard for their first rugby match of the term next week and are showing great promise!

Our inter-house swimming gala at the end of the month will be a chance for our boys to show off their incredible aquatic abilities. While the cross country tournament in March will provide the boys with a chance to show off their stamina and resilience.

We have a lot of matches lined up for the term and are very excited to see them develop in their game as the year progresses.

Most of all we are proud of our students’ etiquette and team work in all of their sports. The consideration for each other and support that the boys provide to one another is wonderful to observe. It is this coming togetherness that is the true meaning of sport after all.
