Our Year 5 and Year 6 boys were fantastic as they took part in the Mini Marathon this April, demonstrating incredible determination, resilience and team spirit throughout the event.
The boys approached the challenge with enthusiasm and positivity, encouraging one another every step of the way and showing outstanding perseverance from start to finish. It was wonderful to see their support for each other and the sense of achievement as they crossed the finish line together.
Events such as the Mini Marathon play an important role in promoting physical wellbeing, resilience and teamwork, helping pupils to build confidence both on and off the sports field. We were incredibly proud of the boys for representing the school so positively and embracing the challenge with such energy and commitment.
At Buckingham Preparatory School, we value opportunities that encourage pupils to develop character, leadership and a lifelong love of sport and physical activity. The Mini Marathon was a brilliant example of these values in action.
Well done to all the boys who took part — you should be extremely proud of yourselves!
