A New Year of Opportunity

Posted: 23rd September 2022

We are now two weeks deep into another exciting year at BPS. We have been applying our learning to the morales of our late Queen Elizabeth II, with respect, reflection and gratitude.

The students have settled in so well, and have certainly stepped into the new year with a positive attitude to learning. Our Year 6’s have conducted themselves with maturity in preparing for their entrance exams. Our Year 5’s have upped their game in terms of self regulatory learning and are applying themselves to an impressive degree in all of their lessons. Year 4 have impressed Mr Arghebant with their ability to stay on top of tasks and being inquisitive in their lessons. Year 3 have stunned Miss Chohan with their maturity and ability to communicate effectively. Year 2 have settled in very well and Mrs Doyle is very excited to see them progress further into the year. Year 1 have represented to Miss Johnson what a charismatic and well behaved bunch of students we are at BPS. Reception have adopted the structure of school life promisingly and are on their best behaviour for Mrs Stoneman. Miss Kelly has expressed her excitement to teaching our new class of Pre-School students, a kind, respectful and energetic group of students.

Even though we are only two weeks, in the amount of achievement certificates have shown the boys have continued their run of impressive work. The School Council have been busy collecting and monitoring house points from each of the classes throughout school, using our new house point system, which has proven to be a hit amongst all ages. It is safe to say that September has started well and all of the boys should be proud of the calm and considerate way they have approached their new challenges. So here’s to another year of exciting events, tremendous trips and life long learning!
