Our new Reception boys have made a fantastic start to their journey at Buckingham Preparatory School. In their very first week, they have settled in with confidence and curiosity, quickly becoming part of our warm and welcoming school community.
One of the highlights of the week has been spending time with their Year 6 buddies. This special partnership between the youngest and oldest pupils in the school is a valued tradition at Buck Prep, giving Reception children supportive role models while allowing the older boys to show responsibility and care.
The boys have also enjoyed getting to know their new teacher, Mrs Stoneman, who has already begun introducing them to exciting learning activities and helping them feel at home in their classroom. With smiles, laughter and new friendships forming, it has been a joyful start to the academic year.
At Buckingham Prep, we pride ourselves on ensuring a smooth and happy transition into Reception. The first week has shown how quickly the boys settle, thrive and begin to grow in confidence.
