The school playground was bursting with colour, laughter and community spirit during this year’s eagerly anticipated Summer Fair, organised by the Buckingham Preparatory School PTA.
Held during the final weeks of the summer term, the event brought together pupils, staff, and families for an afternoon of fun and fundraising. The fair featured a wide range of activities, from classic stalls such as hook-a-duck and face painting, to the ever-popular bouncy castle and a well-stocked raffle table with generous prizes.
One of the highlights of the day was the return of the much-loved ‘Sponge the Teacher’ stall — with Mr Doyle proving to be an especially popular (and soaked!) target. The boys certainly relished the opportunity to give him a good splash, and the sounds of laughter and cheer echoed across the playground.
Events such as the Summer Fair are an important part of school life at Buckingham Preparatory School. They bring families together, strengthen our strong parent-school partnerships, and help build lasting memories for the boys. We are very grateful to the PTA for their time and commitment in making the day such a success.
Whether it’s through whole-school events, enriching classroom experiences or our co-curricular programme, Buckingham Preparatory School offers a warm and vibrant education for boys from age 3 to 11.
