We are delighted to celebrate the fantastic achievement of our boys who received Gold awards in the UK Bebras Challenge this year.
The Bebras Challenge is an international computational thinking competition that introduces pupils to logical reasoning and problem-solving through engaging, age-appropriate puzzles. With millions of children taking part worldwide, achieving a Gold award is a significant accomplishment and places these pupils among the highest performers.
Our boys demonstrated exceptional focus, resilience and analytical thinking as they tackled a series of challenging problems under timed conditions. Their success reflects not only their strong computing and mathematical thinking skills, but also their determination to persevere when faced with tricky tasks — true “brain-stretching” in action.
At Buckingham Preparatory School, we are proud to provide opportunities that develop critical thinking and a love of learning, particularly within STEM education. These Gold awards are a wonderful example of pupils rising to a challenge and taking pride in their achievements.
